01 · Project overview

Keeping a product-led energy business accurate, recognisable and commercially active across website and social channels.

Energi Depotet is a Danish energy supplier within the Au2rama ApS group, providing wood pellets, briquettes and bottled gas for domestic and industrial use. The company serves Southern Denmark through direct website and telephone orders, supported by fast regional delivery.

My role is not the original design or development of the website. The engagement focuses on ongoing visual and operational content management: preparing new website assets, replacing promotional imagery, updating product presentation, prices and availability when requested, and maintaining consistency between the commercial interface and the company’s social communication.

The work therefore sits at the intersection of digital art direction, website governance, e-commerce merchandising and content operations. Each update must communicate current commercial information clearly while preserving the established green visual identity and making a varied catalogue of fuels and gas products easy to recognise.

Business modelDirect regional ordering and delivery

Customers evaluate products, pricing and availability online or place orders directly by telephone.

Content responsibilityWebsite visuals, product information and campaign communication

Updates are prepared around stock, prices, seasonal demand, promotions and new product availability.

Communication rhythmOngoing website support and monthly social content

The channel mix combines commercial updates with product education and practical energy-related information.

02 · Operational scope

A continuous management assignment rather than a one-time website delivery.

Energy retail content changes frequently. Product availability, packaging formats, supplier brands, pallet quantities and prices may all require revision, particularly around seasonal heating demand. The website must therefore be treated as a living commercial environment rather than a static corporate presentation.

The operational scope includes receiving change requests, checking the required product or commercial information, preparing replacement imagery, updating content in the existing website, reviewing the result across relevant page contexts and maintaining visual continuity with the current brand system.

01

Accuracy

Prices, quantities, stock messages and product distinctions must remain aligned with the latest information supplied by the company.

02

Visual continuity

New artwork must feel native to the existing interface, even when products originate from different suppliers and use different packaging systems.

03

Commercial clarity

Key purchasing information is prioritised so customers can identify the product, format, price and next action without unnecessary friction.

04

Responsive assets

Images and layouts are prepared to remain legible across desktop, tablet and mobile content areas within the existing site.

03 · Website content operations

Digital merchandising designed to keep the existing website useful, current and conversion-oriented.

Website updates cover new hero imagery, product-category presentation, replacement product visuals, promotional messages and changes to prices or stock status. The objective is to improve the presentation layer without interfering with the underlying website implementation.

From a UX perspective, the work prioritises information that directly supports purchase decisions: product type, packaging or weight, price, availability and the route to order. Visual changes are evaluated as part of the complete page hierarchy rather than as isolated graphics.

Content-governance principle

Every visual update must preserve the website’s established interaction patterns while making new commercial information immediately understandable and visually consistent.

04 · Visual system and brand continuity

A recognisable green communication language connects products with very different packaging and visual characteristics.

The content system uses Energi Depotet’s green identity as a consistent framing device across product families. Curved graphic fields, strong contrast, controlled typography and recurring calls to action help unify pellets, briquettes and bottled gas within one coherent commercial ecosystem.

Product photography remains central, while graphic overlays organise supporting information such as origin, weight, pallet quantity, certification, promotional pricing and purchasing prompts. This creates a scalable template logic without making every creative look identical.

Recognition

Green brand elements create continuity between website content, promotions and monthly social posts.

Product differentiation

Photography, packaging and concise labels allow customers to distinguish fuel formats and suppliers quickly.

Template scalability

Reusable composition principles accelerate new artwork while leaving room for product-specific information.

05 · Social media management

Monthly communication combines sales activation, product visibility and practical energy education.

Social media content is planned around current offers, newly available products, seasonal demand and educational topics related to heating and energy use. The objective is to keep the company visible between purchases while giving customers useful reasons to follow the channels.

Campaign creatives are designed to remain recognisable as Energi Depotet content while adapting to different messages: direct price promotion, supplier or origin highlights, product-quality communication, heating guidance and industrial or domestic gas applications.

06 · Content workflow

A lightweight production workflow keeps commercial updates controlled and responsive.

The workflow begins with a request or operational change from the business. The required information is clarified, assets are prepared, and the content is adapted to the channel where it will be used. Website updates are checked in context, while social creatives are structured around a defined message and action.

01

Brief and source data

Confirm the product, supplier, price, quantity, stock condition, delivery message and intended publication channel.

02

Asset preparation

Prepare or refine product imagery, promotional hierarchy, brand framing and responsive crops.

03

Website or social deployment

Apply the update to the existing website or produce the channel-specific social creative and caption direction.

04

Visual quality review

Check readability, commercial accuracy, brand consistency and the relationship with surrounding content.

08 · Outcome and learning

A more consistent and operationally reliable digital presence for a catalogue that changes with the market.

The ongoing content-management model allows Energi Depotet to communicate new products, price adjustments, stock changes and seasonal campaigns without losing visual consistency. Website and social channels reinforce one another, giving the company a recognisable presence across the customer journey.

Current commercial information

Website content can be revised as products, prices and availability change.

Consistent brand presentation

Reusable art-direction principles connect varied suppliers and product formats under one identity.

Continuous market visibility

Monthly social communication supports promotions, education and product awareness beyond direct purchasing moments.

Design learning

Website management is also interface management. Even when the underlying platform already exists, every new image, price and product update affects hierarchy, trust, usability and the perceived quality of the brand.
