01 · Project overview

A service-led digital ecosystem for a professional automotive workshop.

Au2rama ApS is an experienced automotive workshop in Vojens serving multiple vehicle makes. Its offer covers routine servicing, oil changes, mechanical repairs, inspection preparation, tyres and wheels, balancing and alignment, and advanced diagnostic work.

The business needed a website that could communicate this broad capability without overwhelming customers. The experience was organised around the actions people most often need to complete: understand the available service, confirm that the workshop is trustworthy, find practical contact information, request support and assess whether a vehicle problem requires fast attention.

The result combines a responsive WordPress website, Castrol-authorised trust signals, clear service pathways, a guided digital car-check tool, technical infrastructure, embedded video and ongoing social communication. The architecture also leaves room for a future vehicle sales operation that is currently being tested as a separate business expansion.

02 · My role

From UX planning and interface design to infrastructure and ongoing communication.

My role covered the full digital delivery rather than only the visual layer. I structured the content, produced wireframes, designed the responsive interface, developed the site in WordPress and Divi, configured the production environment and created the digital car-check experience with AI-assisted development support.

03 · UX strategy and information architecture

Prioritising the questions customers ask before they contact a workshop.

The UX strategy was built around four recurring needs: identify the right service, understand why Au2rama can be trusted, find the practical details needed to visit or call, and receive guidance when the customer cannot clearly describe the problem.

04 · Wireframes

Mid-fidelity planning before visual design and responsive refinement.

Wireframes were used to validate page hierarchy, navigation, service blocks, contact placement and reusable content patterns before the Castrol-led visual layer was applied. This made it possible to evaluate the experience as a system rather than treating each page as an isolated composition.

The wireframe set covers the homepage, company profile, wheel centre, offers and contact experience. It also established where proof points, opening hours, location information and calls to action should appear across the site.

05 · Website and responsive interface

A workshop website designed to feel capable, local and easy to contact.

The final interface combines Au2rama’s own identity with the green, white and service-led visual cues associated with its Castrol-authorised status. Large service imagery, direct headings and repeated practical details help the website feel more like an operational customer tool than a static company brochure.

Responsive behaviour was developed for desktop, tablet and mobile, with special attention to navigation, service cards, typography, touch targets and the visibility of phone, email and opening hours.

Local conversion design

Google Maps, the Vojens address, telephone number, email and opening hours support customers who are ready to call, plan a visit or confirm the workshop’s location.

06 · Digital car check

A guided intake that turns vehicle symptoms into a clearer workshop conversation.

The BIL-TJEK experience was developed as a five-step form with a final result state. It collects the vehicle profile, recent service history, symptoms, safety information and customer contact details. The interaction is designed to feel faster and more manageable than a long conventional form.

At the end of the process, the system presents an indicative result and recommended next step. A copy is automatically sent to the customer and the workshop, creating a useful starting point for follow-up. The interface clearly states that the result is guidance and does not replace a physical technical inspection.

The visual direction makes the Castrol relationship easy to recognise through green service accents, certification badges and carefully positioned proof points. This supports customer confidence while keeping Au2rama clearly identified as the workshop delivering the service.

Certification is not treated as a decorative logo. It appears near service information, oil-change communication and contact decisions where it can answer a practical customer question: why should this workshop be trusted with the vehicle?

08 · Technical delivery

A complete production setup, not only a visual website build.

The project included hosting preparation, cPanel configuration, DNS routing, HTTPS activation, business email configuration and the WordPress/MySQL environment. The site was implemented with Divi and extended with custom HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and PHP where the standard builder experience was not enough.

External services were integrated where they support a real customer task: Google Maps for location, YouTube for storytelling content, social profiles for ongoing communication and server-side email delivery for the digital car check.

09 · Video and social communication

Extending the service story beyond the website.

An AI-assisted storytelling video was produced for Au2rama, published on YouTube and embedded on the homepage. The video adds a more human and narrative format to the service communication while giving the website a richer entry point than static text alone.

Ongoing content for Facebook and Instagram supports seasonal tyre changes, oil service, workshop quality, Castrol-authorised positioning, vehicle maintenance and the early vehicle-sales initiative. The visual system connects the website and social channels without forcing every format to look identical.

10 · Product roadmap

A platform prepared for new automotive services and vehicle sales.

Au2rama is already testing the purchase and sale of vehicles on a limited basis. Rather than presenting this as a finished product, the current roadmap treats it as the next structured digital workstream: inventory management, vehicle detail pages, lead qualification and a clearer commercial process.
